Stephen Munden

Stephen Munden has broad business experience gained in a variety of functional areas across multiple industry sectors, including consumer and professional imaging, chemicals, healthcare, printing and publishing. Most recently he was Head of Stakeholder Policy at BSI British Standards before moving on to working with a wide range of companies large and small.

Stephen has more than 30 years experience in product design, development and commercialisation. He has practical hands-on experience in a number of areas, including strategy and management systems development, technical regulations and compliance and technology management.

In addition to consultancy and practical implementation within industry, Stephen has made significant contributions to standardization, quality infrastructure and removal of technical barriers to trade over an extended period, working with governments and industry, including advising the European Commission's High Level Group on 'Furthering Economic and Environmental Performance of EU Enterprises', contributing to the national Technology Strategy and Programme and co-authorship of the UK's National Standardization Strategic Framework.
